Today is our Polar Express day! We wearing pajamas, snuggling down, & enjoying a magical Christmas movie. Our Giraffe team definitely knows how to celebrate!

 Wow, what a fun Christmas party that we had yesterday. We had a wonderful time celebrating with family & friends! We decorated each other as Christmas trees, played snowman toss, and decorated edible Christmas trees! Check out our pictures...

Election Day

Whew! Voting. Serious stuff. Especially in our Giraffe team. Today we campaigned, learned about voting, and voted on a new class pet. Our choices were between two types of fish: the Glow Danio & Fancy Guppy. It was a close race in the polls...but the Fancy Guppy slid by with one extra vote! Conferences/Thank You

Thank you for attending conferences! Such a great time to discuss and celebrate your child. Enjoy this long, beautiful weekend. I am excited for our Halloween Party on Wednesday!

Pumpkins

This week we are learning all about Pumpkins! The kids are learning how to draw a pumpkin, how they grow, and we will be exploring a pumpkin on Friday. They also had a chance to check out our new Halloween texture table today. Happy Monday!

Reminder

As we approach the end of the week, please remember to bring $1 for the hike for Meredith Burt. This is a wonderful cause and we want to support our Peach family. Also, Fun Friday is this week! Remember to wear your blue & gold!

School Day Tomorrow

Peach Families,

I will not be meeting the buses on the East side of Peach tomorrow morning. Young Fivers will walk to the playground with our bus safeties and line up at my door when the bell rings. I will be out there to guide them :)

Parents who are dropping kids off, you can drop them off at the West playground.

Parent Night

Peach Parents,

It was so wonderful to meet you last night.  I covered a few things very quickly, so please email me with any questions that you may have! Also, it was quite warm in the room last night and our room will feel like that the first few weeks of school. Please dress your child in cool clothing so that they are comfortable!

Monday, August 27: Parent night at 6:30 (Rm. 4) Kindly leave kids at home
Thursday, August 30: "Meet the Teacher" from 11:20-12
Tuesday, September 4: Treasure Hunt from 9-12 (about 30 minutes)
Wednesday, September 5: First FULL DAY of Young Fives!
